  • about Lorraine Daley Wedding Photography

I am happy to announce that as of July 23, 2010, Lorraine Daley Wedding Photography is now a husband and wife team. Greg and I were married in a park across the street from the Colosseum in Rome.

I am a full-time professional photographer, based in Philadelphia, PA. I shoot all kinds of photography, but wedding photography is a large part of my business and the main focus of this blog.

I have been a professional photographer for over 7 years. I have shot a lot of architecture, food, and people (my favorite subject!). A few years ago, someone asked me to photograph their wedding and I instantly fell in love with capturing people in love.

Aside from photography, I am a lover of art, music, dancing, cooking, eating, good conversation, books and movies. I was born and raised in Philly, but love to travel and Greg and I do so as often as possible. If you have a destination wedding, as long as I am not booked...the answer is yes!

Greg is my second shooter, studio manager and the great love of my life. He reads my mind and we work eerily well together.  He is creative, fun, loving, fun-loving,  mindful, meticulous, serious and ridiculous. We complement each other extremely well and have a blast shooting weddings together.

Other topics on this blog include boudoir, engagement shoots, portraiture, travel, a peppering of poetry and all things photography. For a portfolio of some of our favorite images from various weddings, please visit: http://lorrainedaleyweddings.com/ Drop me a line if you would like to talk about any of these. Enjoy reading and have a beautiful day!

Palm Springs/ San Diego

Greg and I had a conference in Palm Springs, so we spent a day there, a day driving through the desert and then a couple days in San Diego. We went to the zoo…it is amazing. I have a thing for Orangutans. Much to my surprise (delight) the camel and I became fast friends.

If you stay in Palm Springs, CA, please do yourself a favor and stay at the Ace Hotel…so awesome!  We also stayed in the Seattle Ace and couldn’t have been happier. The first 5 pics are all from the Palm Springs Ace.  They have a diner, a bar, a killer pool (first pic), outside fireplaces for those chilly desert nights and an amazing staff!

This name disturbs me on a very deep level…

So odd to see snow in the desert.

Allison’s dad owns poinsettia greenhouses….how cool is that.  We stopped there for some pics.
